Poe review: many chat models in one app, paid for in points

Poe, run by Quora, puts models from several companies behind one login, plus thousands of bots made by users. It is the best tool on our list for asking the same question to different models and comparing the answers. The price of that freedom is a points system that takes a while to understand.

Pricing: points, not plans
Poe's web plans are unnamed and priced in US dollars, and the page warns that your final price may vary with regional taxes and currency conversion. The smallest gives 10 thousand points a day for $4.99/month or $49.99/year. Above that come monthly allowances: 660 thousand points for $19.99, 1.65 million for $49.99, 3.3 million for $99.99 and 8.25 million for $249.99. Paying yearly saves 17%.
The Canadian App Store sells Basic at $6.99 a month and Plus at $24.99 a month, or $69.99 and $249.99 a year. Subscribers can top up at $30 per million points, valid for one year. App Store purchases follow Apple's refund rules.
What Poe does well
Model choice is the whole point. The sign-in page lists GPT-6.1-Sol, Gemini-4-Argon, Grok-4.7, Kimi-K3.1-Pro and Mistral-Large-4 among the options, next to image and video bots. Switching models mid-question is quick, which made Poe our favourite tool for checking a doubtful answer.
Group chats hold up to 200 people and several bots at once. You can build and monetize your own prompt or API bots, and share a subscription with family or a team. Memory is optional, off by default, and shared across official bots. Temporary chats are deleted within 24 hours.
Privacy and your data
Poe's privacy policy, updated April 30, 2026, says third-party model providers "may receive details about your interactions", including chat contents and uploaded files, to provide and improve their services. Developers of API bots may store your chats to train their models. Your username and email are not shared with providers. We found no Poe-level opt-out from training. Account deletion starts after a 14-day window in which logging back in reactivates the account.
Support and languages
Help lives at the Poe Help Center, with "Contact Us" and "Report a bug" forms; privacy questions go to Quora's privacy team. App Store and Google Play billing is handled by Apple and Google. The interface comes in nine languages, French among them, and bots answer in whatever language you write in, which worked well in our French tests.
Who should choose Poe
Poe suits curious users and developers who want to test several models without several subscriptions. If you want one assistant and a predictable bill, 
ChatGPT is simpler.
