Cookie policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
The short version
TickerBench stores one small item in your browser to remember your cookie choice. We don't set analytics or advertising cookies today, and if we ever add them they stay off until you allow them.
What we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| consent_state | Local storage (necessary) | Remembers your choice about optional cookies | Until you clear your browser data |
Optional categories
The cookie banner offers two optional categories. Analytics would let us count visits and see which pages are read. Marketing would cover advertising measurement. Both are off by default, and neither runs on the site today. Our pages send a default "denied" signal for both, so no tag can use them without your consent.
Vendor sites
When you follow a link to a vendor, including affiliate links, that vendor's site may set its own cookies, for example to record that you arrived from TickerBench. Those cookies are covered by the vendor's own policy, not this one.
Changing your choice
Use the round cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page to reopen the banner and change your settings. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings, which resets the choice and shows the banner again on your next visit.
