Tickeron review: ready-made signals and trading robots
Official site: tickeron.com
Tickeron Inc., which lists a mailing address in Reno, Nevada, sells pattern-recognition signals and trading robots for stocks, ETFs and crypto through its website and iOS and Android apps. It is the most hands-off product we tested. Instead of building scans yourself, you subscribe to signals or robots that do the pattern work. That makes it easy to start. You are, however, relying on someone else's rules, and the price list needs a careful read.

Plans and regular prices
Tickeron's prices move around because it runs frequent time-limited sales, recently advertised at up to 75% off. We quote the regular prices so you can judge any discount: the daily signal plan is $240/yr, the 60-minute trading robot plan $1,080/yr and the unlimited trading robot plan $3,000/yr, all billed annually. Tools such as the Pattern Search Engine, Trend Prediction Engine, Real Time Patterns, the screener and Time Machine are also sold à la carte. Tickeron shows a dollar sign with no currency code, so confirm the currency at checkout.
Signals and trading robots
The trading robot plans give you access to automated strategies on 60-, 15- and 5-minute timeframes, and Tickeron lists 298 of them. The Trend Prediction Engine attaches a confidence level to each forecast. The Pattern Search Engine finds end-of-day chart patterns and shows breakout targets. In our month with it, the signals were easy to follow. Treat each one as a starting point for your own research, and check the chart yourself before acting on anything a robot or signal suggests.
Trial and free membership
The free Beginner membership gives you a look at the interface. The 14-day free trial is narrower than it sounds: it excludes trading robots, the Expert membership, signal plans and annual subscriptions, which covers most of what people come to Tickeron for. Expect to pay before you can judge the signals properly, and wait for a sale if the regular price feels steep.
Who it suits
Beginners who want ready-made ideas and don't mind paying for them. If you would rather build your own scans, TC2000 or
Finviz give you the tools for a similar yearly budget.
